Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was so much fun!!! My bro came down an brought Zac. We had a very good service, Pastor Emerson preached an awesome message.

After we got home that night I received a phone call from Jenny, a girl who had been coming to youth services on Sunday and Wednesday nights and whenever we would go different places. She said she was going to be fasting thet next day because she wanted to draw closer to God and wanted all the bad things in her life to stop. She asked me what verses I thought she should read. Well, I suggested the book of Acts, since that is where Jesus's teachings were actually put into action. She read the first chapter and called me because she wanted to discuss it.

Well, we talked for an hour or so and even got into the second book of Acts. She had lot's of good questions and understood what we were talking about.

The next day she called us up and wanted to be baptized!!! So Pastor Emerson baptized her in the name of Jesus the day after Easter!!!
